Offkuts Brand Book
Unthread (FMP)
For my Final Major Project, I designed a prototype of an app to be used in schools, after extensive primary and secondary research. 'Unthread' was created for teachers to use as a resource in classrooms, for children in Key Stage 2. It offered tasks and resources that educated children on the environmental impacts of the fashion and textiles industry, in a fun and engaging way. These activities took into consideration other areas of the curriculum, and core subjects like English and Maths, to create a well-rounded environmental education.
This brand book was created as my first assignment at Falmouth University. It included all of the 'brand guidelines' for the hypothetical brand 'Offkuts', initially created alongside Design students, which aimed to close the loop in textile production.
This book was created with Adobe InDesign - a program that I had not previous had experience using. For the submission, the document was printed professionally, and bound using a 'perfect binding' technique.
Global Fashion
In this report, we were tasked with investigating the current situation of a country, before creating a presentation that supported the expansion of a brand into that country.
Long Term Forecast
During this topic, we were tasked with creating a future forecast for the year 2053. This idea was presented during an exhibition-style presentation, with printed and digital assets.
Marketing Strategies
This report incorporated various aspects of marketing strategies to offer a new, innovative idea for an existing company. A presentation followed, which explained the long range plan in more detail.
Short Term Forecast
In this short-term forecast, we worked in small groups of three to create a plan for an existing company. The presentation was verbally and visually delivered to the class.
